This course is designed to speed up your childβs swimming progress by incorporating fun and effective water exercises at homeβboth in the bath and on dry land. These simple yet powerful exercises will help your toddler or preschooler develop water confidence, essential swimming techniques, and safety skills in a playful and stress-free way.
Practicing swimming movements on land helps children develop muscle memory before getting in the water.
β Holding Breath Game β Take a deep breath, puff out cheeks, and hold for a few seconds to practice breath control.
β Back Floating on a Mat β Have your child lie on a yoga mat with arms and legs spread to mimic floating.
β Kick Practice on the Floor β Have them lie on their belly and kick their legs like they would in the water.
β Arm Movements β Practice big, slow "scooping" arm movements to prepare for front crawl.
